The big news this Thanksgiving is the bad weather that’s threatening to be bad news for people’s holiday travel plans

Which means you might need to go to Plan B for T-Day dinner. Happily, there are a ton of good choices across the country where you can dig into turkey but also find options for anyone who loathes the traditional meal.

Some of these places will even let you celebrate Thanksgivukkah (the trademarked term for the double whammy occurrence of Thanksgiving and Hanukkah, which won’t happen again for 70,000-plus years).

For people celebrating the Thanksgiving and Hanukkah double whammy

Telepan - New York City
Chef Bill Telepan is serving a customized three-course feast, from 1 p.m. on (that’s soon after the nearby Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade finishes). Featured dishes include smoked brussels sprouts and egg pasta, organic roast turkey and pumpkin bread pudding. You can also get a side dish of latkes, as you’ll be able to for the eight nights of Hanukkah.

For high rollers who want their Thanksgiving meal covered in truffles, caviar and foie gras

Le Cirque - Las Vegas, Nevada
At the Bellagio, Le Cirque’s prix fixe menu is $145 ($213 with wine pairing; $233 with premium wine pairing) with no shortage of luxe ingredients such as sautéed foie gras with huckleberry reduction, lobster salad with black truffle vinaigrette. Real high rollers can upgrade with nontraditional dishes like panko-crusted farm egg with osetra caviar, risotto with white truffles, and Japanese A4 Wagyu Kobe beef rib eye with matsutake mushrooms. Traditionalists can have organic roast turkey with Pommes Anna for the main course; I bet they’ll shave white truffles over it if you want them to.

For vegetarians who are feeling thankful too

Akasha - Los Angeles
Akasha Richmond, Michael Jackson’s former chef, focuses on sustainability and local sourcing at her comfort food spot, and she’s thinking about everyone for her Thanksgiving menu. There’s herb-roasted turkey (you make the choice between white or dark meat, just like you would at home); pescatarians can opt for Idaho trout with Dungeness crab salad; vegetarians will want sage-and-peppercorn-crusted tofu with leek and chestnut stuffing. Even two of the seven pies and tarts on the dessert buffet are vegan: rustic apple tart and salty chocolate tart with caramel.

For night owls who want to party early and eat late

Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill - Miami, Florida
From 11:30 a.m. to midnight, chef Timon Balloo is serving an à la carte menu broken into Kick Back, Eat Well and Give Thanks sections. Appetizers include pan-seared foie gras with corn brioche and bacon caramel; then there’s the option of turkey with pumpkin puree or braised lamb shank or olive oil-poached salmon with chestnuts. For dessert: pumpkin pie jar with burnt meringue(!). All for $45 per person.

For people who eat turkey as a preamble to the main event: dessert

Asana at the Mandarin Oriental - Boston, Massachusetts
Diners with a sweet tooth (me) would be advised to go easy on the green bean casserole and the meat at the carving station (roast turkey, prime rib and ham). The dessert table is the draw, with 18 options ranging from maple crème brûlée and pumpkin cream profiteroles to hazelnut pear tarts.

For Champagne drinkers thinking ahead to Black Friday

Corkbuzz - New York City
Owner Laura Maniec thinks people should drink Champagne every day. To that end, she offers 50 percent off all bottles of the stuff, from 10 p.m. to close nightly at her groovy wine bar. On Black Friday, her Champagne Campaign will be in effect all day and night long (Corkbuzz opens at 4:30 p.m.). “For shoppers in need,” Maniec says.

For Champagne drinkers who want to start drinking half-price bottles on T-Day, Maniec will make it happen as part of her family-style Thanksgiving dinner, which includes a traditional roast turkey with giblet gravy and sausage stuffing.
