A federal judge has dismissed the racial discrimination claims in a lawsuit filed by a former employee against Paula Deen, the celebrity chef's representative said Monday. Some other aspects of the lawsuit are still pending.

"We are pleased with the Court's ruling today that Lisa Jackson's claims of race discrimination have been dismissed," Deen's representatives said in a statement to CNN. "As Ms. Deen has stated before, she is confident that those who truly know how she lives her life know that she believes in equal opportunity, kindness and fairness for everyone."

Deen's career and public reputation went into a tailspin earlier this summer after her deposition in the lawsuit, in which she admitted using the n-word in the past, was released. Dean has insisted she does not tolerate prejudice, but her apologies have failed to suppress the controversy.

I'm glad ole phony, puffy face, bad cook Paula is gone. She won't be back. She should open up a fast food place in Savannah. She is DONE and I am one happy healthy eater. She needs some MAJOR plastic surgery.

The Office of Civil Rights accept third-party discrimination complaints on behalf of individuals who are either unable or reluctant to file a claim on their own behalf. However, the absence of a signed Identity Release Statement (IRS) from the aggrieved party may severely limit the OCR’s investigation. This can be strengthen by removing the IRS requirement. In this way, anyone who witness discrimination can file without the insanity of just because you are white, you can't file against another white who discriminates against blacks, or is this whistle blowing?

It makes me angry that her Federal racial discrimination charges dismissal is not the leading news story. The press was more than willing to disparage Paula Deen. Where are they now to inform the public of this noteworthy judicial ruling?

You are correct! Isn't it funny how this story stayed on CNN for days and days? Then, the fact that the judge dismissed the case and through it out, CNN decides to air these new developments for only 8 hours on their web-site.

Paula is an old, racist women. She is obsessed with the minstrel south and behaves the same way people behaved in the last 60 years.

She thinks every black women in her kitchen loves her and is her 'soul sister' ,but in reality, she STEALS and TAKES CREDIT for ALL the recipes that the African-Americn community makes.

She wants African American's to be waiters in a 'plantation themed' wedding And she wants black women to ring dinner bells outside her restaurant, which is what African-Americans did back in the day.

PAula Deen lives in a disillusioned,self-satisfying world

Based solely on your groundless, racism-laced comments, there is NO doubt whatsoever that YOU are much more of a racist than Paula Deen is.

could you possibly be any less intelligent. did you read the letter from the accuser praising both paula and bubba written not long before she left thier employ. did you listen to any of her employees who said it was all garbage. Or did you just hear the former cook who at one time made 70 thousand and had 401k health ins etc. After she left..she apparently blew her money and decided to jump on the bandwagon. She has also been discredited by employees who worked with her. Please get off your soap box and stop believing you're better than everyone else. You aren't..neither am I or anyone else.

Oh grow up. She grew up cooking it... hence, it's her take on the classic recipes. And she's no more racist than you or anyone else. Don't believe me? Look at your rant. Hello, Mr. Kettle... I think you owe Mrs. Pot an apology.
